| Spanish abstract | De enero de 1999 a enero de 2006, se llevaron a cabo 356 colecistectomías por vía laparoscópica, practicándose 352 (98.88%) colangiografías transcísticas transoperatorias como parte del mismo procedimiento. De ellos, 214 pacientes del sexo femenino y 142 del sexo masculino, con una edad entre 27 y 84 años, siendo la media de 50.5 años. Los diagnósticos fueron de: Colecistitis crónico litiásica en 215 pacientes (60.39%), colecistitis aguda litiásica en 89 pacientes (24.43%), colecistitis aguda alitiásica en 26 pacientes (7.3%), hidro o piocolecisto en 20 pacientes (5.4%), colecistitis enfisematosa en 8 pacientes (2.24%), cáncer de vesícula en 4 pacientes (1.12%), coledocolitiasis en 29 pacientes (8.14%). El tiempo promedio para la realización de la colangiografía en los últimos 50-70 casos fue de entre 4 y 6 minutos. Morbimortalidad del 0%. El costo promedio de la colangiografía fue de $1,200.00 MN, en el Centro Médico ABC. El seguimiento de los pacientes fue de hasta 12 meses. Es un procedimiento que debe llevarse a cabo como complemento rutinario en la colecistectomía laparoscópica |
| English abstract | From January 1999 to January 2006, 356 Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy were performed, with 352 transcystic cholangiography as part of the same procedure. Of them, 214 patients were female and 142 male, with in the age of 27 and 84 years, being the media 50.5 years. The diagnosis was as followed: Chronic lithiasic cholecystitis in 215 patients (60.39%), acute lithiasic cholecystitis in 89 patients (24.43%), none lithiasic acute cholecystitis in 26 patients (7.3%), hidrops cholecystitis in 20 patients (5.4%), emphysematous cholecystitis in 8 patients (2.24%), gallbladder cancer in 4 patients (1.12%), stones in the biliary track in 29 patients (18.14%). The average time for the cholangiography in the last 50 to 70 patients was between 4 an 6 min. The morbility and the mortality was 0%, the average cost for the cholangiography was $1,200.00 pesos at the ABC Medical Center. Patients were followed for up to 12 months. This is a routine procedure that has to be performed in every laparoscopic cholecystectomy |
