| Spanish abstract | El tejido pancreático ectópico en la vesícula biliar es una lesión rara; con pocos casos reportados en la literatura. Puede estar asociado con colecistitis crónica y colelitiasis; generalmente es un hallazgo histológico en vesículas biliares extirpadas por otra enfermedad. El tejido pancreático ectópico generalmente es asintomático debido a su tamaño pequeño. Se presenta el caso de un hombre joven con dolor abdominal secundario a colecistitis y colelitiasis con un nódulo mural de páncreas exocrino, el cual no se consideró ser la causa de las manifestaciones clínicas |
| English abstract | The heterotopic pancreatic tissue in the gallbladder is a rare entity and there are only a few cases reported in the literature. They are associated with cholecystitis and cholelithiasis and are always histologic findings in gallbladder removed with other underlying diseases. The heterotopic pancreatic tissue is generally asymptomatic due to its small size. A case of a young man with abdominal pain due to cholelithiasis and cholecystitis is reported. A mural nodule of exocrine pancreas was identified but was not considered to be cause of the clinical manifestations |
