| Spanish abstract | En este artículo planteamos que la narración gráfica Gay Gigante articula una reconstrucción autobiográfica que busca una explicación del yo presente a partir de la indagación del yo pasado. En ese proceso, el sujeto fija sus hitos autobiográficos en fragmentos del Paisaje Mediático, construyendo también su experiencia como espectador. De ese modo, desde sus dibujos, se ponen en escena las coreografías que alguna vez Gay Gigante desplegó frente al televisor, así como también artistas, actores, películas y canciones que fueron significando su identidad. A partir de aquella operación, veremos que el sujeto se re-apropia o pone en tensión los códigos mediáticos, a la vez que liga inextricablemente memoria y Paisaje Mediático |
| English abstract | In this article we propose that Gay Gigante articulates an autobiographical reconstruction that seeks an explanation of the present self from the investigation of the past self. In this process, the subject fixes his autobiographical milestones on Mediascape fragments and also builds his experience as a spectator. From that operation, we will see that the subject re-appropriates or puts in tension the mediatic codes, while at the same time he links memory and Mediascape |
