| English abstract | This article presents reflections on the environmental question in relation to global warming, considering it to be the most current manifestation of the issue and that with the strongest impact. It situates both the social and environmental questions at the root of a system that through its mode of production, by commodifying man and earth, produces inequality, poverty and depredation. The paper conducts critical readings of the system to reveal its inherent contradictions, based on the fact that it appropriates, for private purposes, goods produced by man and nature. It stimulates understanding and awareness of these issues to establish resistances and thus inscribe in the political agenda a situation more favorable to life on the planet |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente artigo traz reflexões sobre a questão ambiental no que se refere ao o aquecimento global, tomando-o como sua mais atual e impactante manifestação. Situa tanto a questão social quanto a ambiental na raiz de um sistema que, em seu modo de produzir, ao mercantilizar o homem e a terra produz desigualdade pobreza e depredação. Procura desvendar, a partir de leituras críticas ao sistema, as contradições nele ínsitas, à medida que se apropria, de forma privada, tanto dos bens produzidos pelo homem quanto pela natureza. Estimula a compreensão e a tomada de consciência desta questão para formar resistências e, assim, inscrever na agenda política uma situação mais favorável à vida no planeta |
