| English abstract | The present paper describes the Chilean legal system, specifically in relation to a lawyer’s obligation to keep their client informed once the contractual relationship has been entered into. It will elucidate the basis of this duty and the characteristics of this obligation in relation to its content and the opportunity it represents, and will, moreover, define the consequences of non-compliance |
