| Spanish abstract | Se presentan los resultados parciales de una investigación, que buscó describir las representaciones sociales (RS) que tienen sobre el ambiente maestros de Instituciones Educativas Distritales (IED) rurales, quienes laboran en una región de páramo y una aledaña a la capital de la república y analizar cómo se hacen visibles en los objetos de enseñanza, como base para una educación ambiental pertinente en el contexto rural. El artículo se inicia con la caracterización de los contextos rural del páramo y escolar de las IEDs de la región, como referente para ubicar el significado de lo rural. En la segunda parte se presentan algunos resultados relacionados con la transformación de RS sobre el ambiente de maestros rurales de IEDs de la localidad de Sumapaz, Distrito Capital de Bogotá, que se manifiestan en sus prácticas de enseñanza en trabajo de campo y clases, durante el proceso de investigación del cual formaron parte |
| English abstract | Partial results are presented of a research, which intended to describe the social representations (SR) that teachers of Rural District Educational Institutions (RDEI) have on environment. These teachers work in a moorland area and in a zone next to the capital of the country/Colombia and will analyze how these SRs are visible in the teaching objects, as basis for a pertinent environmental education in the local context. The article starts with the characterization of the rural context of the moorland and the schools of RDEI in the region, as referent for determining the meaning of “rural”. In the second part, some articles start with the results related to SR transformation on RDEI teachers' environment belonging to Sumapaz, locality belonging to Distrito Capital de Bogotá.
