| English abstract | On March 11, 2020, the WHO declared COVID-19 as a pandemic, since then it has been a central concern of the whole citizen life and the multiplication of false contents has increased exponentially. Given the impact of the infodemic, we will typify and analyze the COVID-19 hoaxes circulating in Venezuela, based on the database on the subject maintained by the Venezuelan Observatory of Fake News, of which it has been a member since its foundation. The typification of hoaxes will take into consideration the following categories: network, topic, subtopic, actor, issuer, and purpose of the hoaxes; this analysis will allow us to build a timeline of milestones that we will contrast with some information about COVID-19 circulating at the same time, seeking to relate what in this long year has been part of the social representation on the subject in the Venezuelan case. |
| Spanish abstract | El 11 de marzo de 2020 la OMS declara el COVID-19 como pandemia; desde entonces, ha sido preocupación central de la vida ciudadana toda y la multiplicación de los contenidos falseados se ha potenciado exponencialmente. En atención al impacto de la infodemia tipificaremos y analizaremos los bulos que sobre COVID-19 circulan en Venezuela apoyándonos en la base de datos que sobre el tema lleva adelante el Observatorio Venezolano de Fake News del que formo parte desde su fundación. La tipificación de los bulos tomará en consideración las siguientes categorías: red, tema, subtema, actor, emisor y propósito de los bulos; este análisis nos permitirán construir una línea temporal de hitos que contrastaremos con algunas informaciones que sobre COVID-19 circulen en esos mismos momentos buscando relacionar lo que en este largo año ha formado parte de la representación social sobre la temática en el caso venezolano. |
