| English abstract | Because of the controversies of the current ethics on respect for the dignity of the person, the purpose of the study is to establish the philosophical foundations of this problem. For this, a historical-philosophical study of it on the basis of the method and implementation of the relationship between the historical and the logical is done. Thus, the dominant conceptual tendencies in the history of philosophy and ethics on the issue, which form the basis to develop a comprehensive theoretical and conceptual system about the same, are disclosed. As a conclusion the person while being autonomous, unique and unrepeatable sociocultural, is itself at all stages of life, a value, which derives its intrinsic dignity; therefore, it has to be respect. |
| Spanish abstract | Ante las polémicas de la ética actual sobre el respeto a la dignidad de la persona, el propósito del trabajo es establecer los fundamentos filosóficos de este problema. Para ello, se efectúa un estudio histórico-filosófico de la misma sobre la base de la aplicación método de la relación entre lo histórico y lo lógico. De este modo, se revelan las tendencias conceptuales predominantes en la historia de la filosofía y la ética sobre la cuestión, que constituyen los fundamentos para desarrollar un sistema teórico-conceptual integral, acerca dela misma. Seconcluye que la persona, en tanto ser sociocultural autónomo, único e irrepetible, constituye en sí misma en todas las etapas de la vida un valor, del cual dimana su dignidad intrínseca, por eso, ha de ser objeto de respeto. |
