| English abstract | Cuba despite the lack of advanced diagnostic methods performed studies which have achieved valuable results on pleural effusion. A high incidence of cases entering the service of Pulmonology and Internal Medicine of the country is observed. The classification of this disease motivated to publicize and expose their clinical diagnostic judgment, in addition to therapeutic orientation, through this literature review. |
| Spanish abstract | Cuba a pesar de carecer de métodos diagnósticos avanzados realiza estudios de los que se han logrado obtener valiosos resultados sobre derrame pleural. Se observa una alta incidencia de casos que ingresan en el servicio de Neumología y Medicina Interna del país. La clasificación de esta enfermedad así como su frecuencia motiva dar a conocer y exponer su juicio clínico-diagnóstico, además de la orientación terapéutica, a través de esta revisión bibliográfica. |
