| English abstract | An educational intervention is performed with the goal of raising the level of knowledge about hepatitis B in adolescents in Cadela clinical office, Táchira, Venezuela, from September 2012 to February 2013 .The universe consists of 90 adolescents between 13 and 19 years that were systematically randomly chosen after prior informed. The research has three phases: diagnostic, educational intervention and evaluation. A questionnaire was given before the intervention used to identify learning needs and to develop the educational program, and then evaluate the acquired knowledge. After the application scored 100% on the general elements of the entity in question. The effectiveness of the process was evaluated either at the end of the study so that it is considered of great impact. |
| Spanish abstract | Se realiza una intervención educativa con el objetivo de elevar el nivel de conocimientos sobre la hepatitis B en las adolescentes del consultorio Cadela, Táchira, Venezuela, en el período septiembre 2012 - febrero de 2013. El universo está constituido por las 90 adolescentes entre 13 y 19 años dispensarizados que se escogieron de forma aleatoria sistemática, tras previo consentimiento informado. La investigación tiene tres etapas: diagnóstica, intervención educativa y evaluación de la misma. Se les aplica un cuestionario antes de la intervención que sirve para identificar las necesidades de aprendizaje así como elaborar el programa educativo, y posteriormente evaluar el conocimiento adquirido. Luego de su aplicación el 100 % obtuvo los elementos generales acerca de la entidad en cuestión. La efectividad del proceso se evaluó de bien al término del estudio por lo que se considera de buen impacto. |
