| English abstract | Aging is a physiological process that runs throughout life and is the last phase of the life cycle. When discussing the surgery of the elderly, obviously the chronological and biological barrier appears. With the purpose of combining literature regarding the anesthetic morbidity of the geriatric patient in videolaparoscopic surgery, this revision of small scope is presented. Considering it is very useful and important since it allows a starting point to continue the improvement of the norms of attention that contribute elements and serve of experience in the geriatric patients. |
| Spanish abstract | El envejecimiento es un proceso fisiológico que transcurre a lo largo de la vida y constituye la última fase del ciclo vital. Cuando se discute la cirugía del anciano, obviamente aparece la barrera cronológica y biológica. Con el propósito de aunar literatura referente a la morbilidad anestésica del paciente geriátrico en cirugía videolaparoscópica se presenta esta revisión de pequeño alcance. Considerando sea de mucha utilidad e importancia ya que permite un punto de partida para continuar el mejoramiento de las normas de atención que aporten elementos y sirvan de experiencia en los pacientes geriátricos. |
