| English abstract | Neurological diseases, together with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, are the most important chapter in the perioperative management of patients with chronic noncommunicable diseases, due to the morbidity and mortality, especially in the postoperative period. Neurological diseases are a very important aspect, taking into account that all anesthetic drugs, including muscle relaxants act to a greater or lesser degree on the nervous system. With the aim of setting guidelines and joining criteria in the anesthetic management, of the not infrequent neurological diseases, in the anesthesiology and resuscitation service of the General Teaching Hospital "Dr. Agostinho Neto "of Guantánamo, this bibliographic review is carried out. |
| Spanish abstract | Las enfermedades neurológicas, junto a las cardiovasculares y respiratorias, forman el capítulo más importante dentro del manejo perioperatorio de pacientes con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles, debido a la morbilidad y mortalidad sobre todo postoperatoria que presentan estos pacientes. Las enfermedades neurológicas constituyen un aspecto muy importante, teniendo en cuenta que todos los fármacos anestésicos, incluyendo los relajantes musculares actúan en mayor o menor grado sobre el sistema nervioso. Con el objetivo de sentar pautas y aunar criterios en el manejo anestésico, de las no infrecuentes dolencias neurológicas, en el servicio de anestesiología y reanimación del Hospital General Docente "Dr. Agostinho Neto" de Guantánamo, se realiza esta revisión bibliográfica. |
