| Spanish abstract | El río Sauce Chico nace en el Cerro Luisa, Sistema de Ventania, Argentina y desarrolla una cuenca de 1,595km2. La agricultura es la actividad más importante de la zona. El objetivo del trabajo es determinar el escurrimiento superficial sobre la base de los excesos del balance hídrico y relacionar el caudal medio mensual con las precipitaciones según la información disponible. | English abstract | The Sauce Chico river originates in the Cerro Luisa, Ventania System, Argentina and develops a basin of 1,595km2. Agriculture is the most important activity in the area. The objective of this study is to determine the surface runoff based on the excesses of water balance and to relate the monthly average flow with precipitation from the information available. The physical features of this basin with a large area of very gentle and permeable slopes, favor the delay from late summer through early spring |
