Spanish abstract En la presente investigación se hace un análisis crítico sobre cómo afecta el mecanismo de locus standi en el ejercicio del derecho a la tutela judicial efectiva en el Sistema Interamericano de Protección de Derechos Humanos, al ser la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos quien recepta las peticiones y priva, de esta forma, al peticionario del acceso directo a la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos
English abstract This study consists of a critical analysis of how the figure of locus standi for accessing the Inter-American System for the Protection of Human Rights affects the right to effective judicial protection since the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights is in charge of receiving the corresponding petitions, thus depriving petitioners from having direct access to justice
