| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo de naturaleza teórica, aborda el proceso del cuidar dentro de la profesión de enfermería. Ha existido una dificultad de tipo conceptual sobre la responsabilidad de cuidar. En este artículo se hace un análisis del constructo "cuidar", como un valor complejo. También se hace referencia a la significación del autocuidado vinculado a la salud y la ética, en el contexto de enfermería. Se abordan definiciones que permiten visualizar de una manera amplia y sencilla el valor de cuidar, la significación del auto-cuidado, salud y su justo valor, el análisis de un constructo, el acto de cuidar: accionar de un acto complejo, ética del cuidado, la salud de quienes ejercen la profesión de enfermería y el estrés. | English abstract | The present theoretical-nature article boards the process of care within the nursing profession. There has been a conceptual difficulty about the responsibility of caring. This article is an analysis of the construct "caring" as complex value. It also refers to the significance of self care to health and ethics, in the context of nursing. It addresses definitions that show an open and non complex visualization the value of caring, the significance of self-care, health and its fair value, the analysis of a construct, the act of caring: an action of a complex act, ethical of care, the health of those who are in the nursing profession and stress. It is considered the value of caring as an intangible value |
