| Spanish abstract | Este texto hace referencia, entre otros aspectos, a las características de la investigación cualitativa y del investigador: sus métodos, dinámica de la sistematización de datos, procesos cognitivos, criterios de evaluación, principios de validez, representación del texto, algunos principios éticos, importancia en la investigación en educación, particularmente en el aula, sin desconocer el auge que tiene en otras disciplinas, particularmente en el área de la salud. En este mundo de constantes cambios todo profesional, en especial el de educación, requiere conocer al respecto y tener otra mirada además de la cuantitativa, más, cuando hoy se avanza en los diseños mixtos. Incorporar a su saber y hacer los estudios cualitativos le permite entender la realidad social, institucional, del aula, le proporciona mayor claridad conceptual cuando aborda proyectos de investigación bien sea para ejecutarlos, orientarlos o evaluarlos. Sea ésta una oportunidad para reflexionar al respecto y sentar algunas bases que motiven y generen innovación en la forma de mirar los problemas que se presentan desde el ejercicio de la docencia |
| English abstract | This text references, amongst others, the characteristics of qualitative research and the researcher: It examines methods, dynamics of data systematization, cognitive processes, evaluation criteria, validity principles, text representation, some ethical principles and the importance of research in education, particularly in the classroom. However, we are not ignoring the importance of research in other disciplines, specifically the field of medicine and human health. In this world of constant change, every professional, specially in the field of education, should be aware of and recognize other points of view different from the quantitative one, even more so since today mixed designs prevail. Incorporating his knowledge and performing qualitative studies allows him to understand his social, institutional and classroom reality. Likewise, it provides greater conceptual clarity when approaching research projects, whether to execute, to orient or to evaluate them. Let this be an opportunity to reflect on this matter and lay some groundwork to motivate and generate innovation to create new ways to approach the problems that arise while teaching |
