| Spanish abstract | El uso, distribución, intercambio y manipulación de ideas, imágenes y sonidos que se realizan en el ciberespacio ponen en jaque a las leyes de derechos de autor. Las infinidad de posibilidades que nos brindan las nuevas tecnologías hace necesario que más gente se preocupe e informe por los derechos de autor, al tiempo que obliga a las autoridades a flexibilizar dichas leyes. Ya existen iniciativas en todo el mundo que buscan cambiar la forma en que las leyes de derechos de autor se construyen y modifican, pero a final de cuentas es el cambio ético que sucede a la par de los avances tecnológicos lo que terminará por cambiar la forma en que nos relacionamos con las creaciones de otros |
| English abstract | The use, distribution, exchange and manipulation of ideas, images and sounds that take place in cyberspace makes us question the current copyright laws. The infinite amount of possibilities that the new technologies have created creates de need for people to be better informed about copyright issues, and at the same time is pushes the authorities to make those laws more flexible. There are initiatives all over the world that seek ways to change the approach with which copyright laws are built and modified, but in the end the ethical change happening along the technological advance will change the way we relate to the creations of others |
