English abstract | preently, is necesary reduce emissiois generated by motor vehicle, since these are one of the sources that damage environment. So, reformulated gasoline play a important role, because they must respect regulations specifications, more and more stricts proposed by agencies that deal with pollution prevention and control, ir order to have clean fuels. It has been shown that new formulations for gasolines, that oxygenated compounds hve the needed properties to reduce concentrations of some harmful compounds, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, amont these oxygenated compound, methanol has a high octane and oxygen index, and in spite of the fact that when is added to gasoline, its vapor pressure increases and a phae separation occurs, it should be considered fo the new formulations. In order to properly evaluated at wich mass fractions a phse separation occurs, when methanol is added to gasoline, its neceary conduct studies on the liquid-liquid phase equilibrium of hydrocarbons representatives of gasoline like methyl cyclo hexane and aromatic hydrocarbons. In this paper, experimental results of of the liquid-liquid phase equilibrium are pressented, for three ternary systems of the kind methyl cyclo hexane + methanol + aromatic hydrocarbon, in wich the latter is o-xylene and p-xylene at 298.15 K degrees |
