| English abstract | Naphta catalytic reforming (CR) units presently designed and constructed in refineries over the world, are result of continuous development and advance in catalytics and in petroleum industry. From the thermal reforming in the newest continuous regenerative processes, CR has evolved jointly with the development of catalysts used in the processes, in beginning metallic oxides were usen in active phase and were substituted by llumina supported metallic catalysts, finally replaced by bi and poly metallic catalysts, in each type of used catalysts the constructors creativity and petroleum industry needs, resulted in new industrial processes, conforming the CR technological developments.
