| English abstract | Based on the results obtained through research carried out in the Marajoara archipelago, this article was written and in its investigative course, its general objective was to analyze the process of social reproduction of riverside families and the child labor performed by children and adolescents in the Tajapuru River in the municipality of Breves, considering the economic, political, legal, and sociocultural measurements that involve the studied social being. It is noteworthy that they live underpermanentthreat and subject themselves to the worst conditions of child labor tensioned by the need for survival. The lack of responsibility of the State in terms policies aimed at assisting families was also verified, through the absence of confrontation of the social assistance network of municipality, with emphasis on the Guardianship Council and the Municipal Court for Children and Youth |
| Portuguese abstract | A partir dos resultados obtidos por meio de pesquisas realizadas no arquipélago marajoara, este artigo, no seu percurso investigativo, teve como objetivo geral analisar o processo de reprodução social de famílias ribeirinhas e do trabalho infantil que crianças e adolescentes realizam no Rio Tajapuru, no município de Breves, considerando as medições econômicas, políticas, jurídicas e socioculturais que envolvem o ser social estudado. Ressalta(-se )que os mesmos vivem em permanente ameaça e sujeitam-se às piores condições de trabalho infantil tensionadas pela necessidade de sobrevivência. Constata, também, a desresponsabilização do Estado no que se refere às políticas voltadas à assistência às famílias, através da ausência de enfrentamento da rede socioassistencial do município, com ênfase no Conselho Tutelar e na Varada infância e da juventude do Município |
