| English abstract | A library of chiral Schiff base ligands was synthesized from aromatic aldehydes and chiral amino alcohols. These ligands were then screened as catalysts in the asymmetric ring opening of meso-cyclohexene epoxide with phenyllithium to give (1S,2R)-phenylcyclohexanol in 9-67% ee |
