| Spanish abstract | Este artículo analiza cómo los objetos e imágenes –registros– daban sentido material y afectivo a la existencia de una cofradía; cómo se producían los vínculos entre los asociados a través de las imágenes y bienes que pertenecían a su corporación, y cómo estas relaciones simbólicas eran las que motivaban el resguardo y defensa de los bienes comunes. Para ello se analizan, a partir de listados de bienes de cofradías, las vinculaciones y producción que estas materialidades generan en las devociones de sus miembros, así como con sus sistemas de identidad grupal. Análisis que se enfoca desde la psicología social y la sociología para observar la afectividad y devoción con una perspectiva que vaya más allá de la religión |
| English abstract | This article analyzes how objects and images –the records– gave material and emotional meaning to the existence of a brotherhood; how the links between the associates were produced through the images and goods that belonged to their corporation, and how these symbolic relations were the ones that motivated the protection and defense of the common goods. In order to do so, the article also analyzes, from the list of goods the brotherhoods, the linkages and production that these materialities generate in the devotions of their members, as well as with their group identity systems.
