| Spanish abstract | En el presente artículo relevo en breve síntesis la copiosa obra editorial del Instituto de Historia del Derecho, publicada entre los años 1939 y 1983. Luego de compendiar en sucinta crónica el desarrollo del Instituto, su significación científica y universitaria y el perfil académico de sus directores, considero el contenido de las diversas conferencias, comunicaciones, lecciones y colecciones publicadas en el período que desplegó su actividad. Destaco aquellas obras y artículos que según mi experiencia docente, evalúo más significativos para la enseñanza de la Historia del Derecho. Dedico la parte final al estudio de la Revista del Instituto, sus secciones y contenidos científicos, docentes y académicos más relevantes, que le han conferido valía internacional, y especialmente algunos artículos de la sección Crónicas, que comentan la celebración de la Primera Reunión de Historiadores del Derecho Indiano y de las Primeras Jornadas de Historia del Derecho Argentino |
| English abstract | In this article, I briefly analize the copious editorial work of the Institute of Legal History , published between 1939 and 1983. After summarizing in a succinct chronicle the development of the Institute, its scientific and university significance and the academic profile of its directors, I consider the content of the various conferences, communications, lessons and collections published in the period that displayed its activity. I highlight those works and articles that according to my teaching experience, I evaluate more significant for the teaching of History of Law. I dedicate the final part to the study of the Journal of the Institute, its most relevant sections and contents, which have conferred international value, and especially some articles of the Chronicles section, which comment on the celebration of the First Meeting of Indian Law Historians and the First Conferences on the Argentine Law History |
