Spanish abstract | El presente artículo se enfrenta a una de las principales características del ius commune como cultura jurídica histórica: la pluralidad de ordenamientos jurídicos de diferente relevancia y de vigencia simultánea, y las relaciones que podían establecerse entre ellos. Lo que el autor ha pretendido es ofrecer los presupuestos sobre los cuales ha de comprenderse la problemática apuntada, y que afectan al concepto de ley, a lo que significaba hacer leyes, y a la posición desde la cual podían establecerse |
English abstract | This article analyzes one of the main characeristics of ius commune as a historic legal culture: the pluralism of applicable legal rules, differing in origin and importance, and the relationships that could be established among them. The author’s aim is to show the premises that allow a correct understanding of that historical problem: the concept of law, the meaning of making it, and who could legitimately do it |
