| Spanish abstract | Se dice que después de la batalla todos son generales. En parte sucede algo así con el racionalismo moderno. Desde el cogito de Descartes hasta el metarelato de Lyotard se completa un ciclo. La revisión de los grandes temas de pensamiento europeo: Dios, el hombre, la naturaleza desembocó en una disociación entre el más acá terreno y el más allá sobrenatural. Pero, con ello el hombre acabó reducido a una ínfima partícula del universo, del cual, apunta Vattimo, sería una insensatez pensar que podía cambiar algo. Entonces se derrumbó por sí mismo, como pudo verse en la Unión Soviética, el sueño racionalista de rehacer el mundo según los dictados de la sola razón humana. El afán constructor del racionalismo moderno, deja paso a la desconstrucción de una Postmodernidad de contornos todavía inciertos. Los hilos de esta historia van más allá de momentos y escenarios. Comprenden enfrentamientos entre autores y personajes como Lorenz von Stein y Karl Marx o convergencias de Andrés Bello y Heinrich Ahrens, Arturo Enrique Sampay y Hanns-Albert Steger, Andrei Wischinsky y James Bovard |
| English abstract | It is often said that after the battle we are all generals. Something similar happens with modern rationalism. Starting with the Cartesian "cogito" up to Lyotard's meta-narrative, a cycle is completed. The revisiting of the great themes of European thought: God, man and nature ended in a dislocation between the temporal world and the supernatural hereafter. However, as a consequence of this, man ended up being a tiny particle in the universe, of whom, says Vattimo, it would be foolish to think he could change anything, Then, the rationalist illusion of reshaping the world according to the dictates of human reason alone crumbled by it own weight, as exemplified by the Soviet Union. The strings of this history are beyond of moments and sceneries. They also include challenges between authors and characters, such as Lorenz von Stein and Karl Marx, or converge, such as Andrés Bello and Heinrich Ahrens, Arturo Enrique Sampay and Hanns- Albert Steger, and Andrei Wishinky and James Bovarrd |
