| Resumen en inglés | Freedom and democracy have been central themes in the life of the western culture. Diverse is the use that they have been given, but predominantly in the political sphere. However, education also constitutes a core sphere that connects with freedom and democracy, nodal elements that contribute for education to be rethought, reoriented ac- cording to the problems and concerns of the time and the viewpoint from which it is approached, but also to the extent that freedom and democracy are irrevocably required to resignify themselves as well. In this sense, the present work has the purpose of consid- ering education, freedom and democracy under an amalgam made by some elements of the philosophies of Maurice Merleau-Ponty in his vast work and Jacques Rancière specifically in The ignorant teacher, namely: imagination, chance, corporeality. |
| Resumen en español | La libertad y la democracia son temas capitales en la vida cultural de Occidente. Diversos son los tratamientos que se les ha dado, predominantemente en el ámbito político. Sin embargo, la educación constituye también una esfera medular que conecta con estas categorías. Estos elementos nodales contribuyen para repensar y reorientar la educación según los problemas y preocupaciones en turno, y el ángulo desde el cual se le aborde; toda vez que la libertad y la democracia han sido exigidas también a resignificarse irrevocablemente. En este sentido, el presente trabajo tiene el propósito de valorar la educación, la libertad y la democracia bajo una amalgama efectuada por las filosofías de Maurice Merleau-Ponty en su obra varia y Jacques Rancière, específi- camente en El maestro ignorante, a saber: imaginación, azar, corporalidad. |
