| English abstract | In this article we analyze the origins of well-known trinomial “potestasmanusmancipioque”, which defines the set of the paterfamilias powers in the work of Gayo. Starting with the analysis of this phrase we carry back its origins to the ancient stages of the History of Rome and related it with the several mechanisms to control the properties of that period |
