| Spanish abstract | Este artículo muestra los resultados de una investigación que surgió de la necesidad de las pymes industriales de implementar, en forma adecuada, la NIIF para pymes sección 13. Por ello, su objetivo general fue determinar los beneficios y dificultades de tal proceso. Se observó que algunas industrias se han comprometido con la implementación de las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera (NIIF) en su conjunto, mientras otras, aún no realizan esta tarea de forma organizada y completa, argumentando que es costoso y dispendioso. Por tanto, los empresarios deben comprometerse en capacitar a los preparadores de la información financiera y realizar el ajuste de sus operaciones, a fin de recopilar la información requerida por la aplicación de la norma internacional |
| English abstract | This article shows the results of a research project that rises from the need of industrial SMEs to adequately implement the IFRS for SMEs section 13. Therefore, its general aim was to determine the benefits and difficulties in the implementation of the IFRS for SMEs section 13 in the industry. It was noted that some industries have committed to the implementation of the IFRS, while others have not yet done so in an organized and comprehensive manner, arguing that it is costly and timeconsuming. Entrepreneurs should therefore commit themselves to train those who prepare financial information and to adjust their operations in order to collect the information required by the application of the international standard |
