| Spanish abstract | Una nueva institución arbitral con carácter esencialmente iberoamericano, orientado a la resolución de conflictos que involucren a los operadores de cualquiera de los veintidós países que integran la Conferencia Iberoamericana ha sido creada con la firma del Acuerdo Marco de Cooperación en la ciudad de Brasilia, en 2012. Fruto del acuerdo de las cámaras y organizaciones empresariales y de comercio iberoamericanas; de los colegios y principales asociaciones de abogados. Los cuales fueron representados por la Unión Iberoamericana de Abogados (UIBA), con colaboración de la Secretaría General Iberoamericana (Segib) y la Conferencia de Ministros de Justicia Iberoamericanos (Comjib), fue la presentación del Centro de Arbitraje Iberoamericano (CAI) en el seno de la XXII Cumbre de Jefes de Estado que se celebró en Cádiz, en 2012. Se ofrece una opción novedosa y culturalmente cercana al mundo iberoamericano para la solución de sus controversias comerciales y en materia de inversiones |
| English abstract | A new arbitration institution with an essentially Ibero-American character, aimed to resolve conflicts involving operators of any of the twenty two countries of the Ibero-American Conference has been created with the execution of the Framework Cooperation Agreement in Brasilia, in 2012. As a result of an agreement among the Ibero-American business organizations and chambers of commerce; and the main bar associations which were represented which were represented by the presentation of the Ibero-American Union of Bars (UIBA), in collaboration with the General Ibero-American Secretariat (Segib) and the Ibero-American Conference of Justice Ministers (Comjib), the presentation of the Ibero-American Arbitration Center (CAI) was introduced within the XXII Summit of Heads of States held in Cadiz, on 2012. An innovative and culturally closer to the Ibero-American world option is hereof provided to resolve commercial and investment disputes |
