| English abstract | This article presents a research that investigated the inclusion of Music in political-pedagogic projects, aiming at identifying how, when, where and by whom the teaching of Music is defined, planned, implemented and developed; it aims at analyzing goals and objectives of music in schools and their relation with the purposes expressed in the political-pedagogic project. The locus of the research was the Municipal Secretary of Education for the city of Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul, and municipal schools. The methodology used was the qualitative approach and the case study method, with semi-structured interviews, observations and questionnaires. Based on the analytical dimensions proposed by Medel (2008), Oliveira, Souza e Bahia (2005), Ball (1994) and Bowe et al. (1992), the results point to the complexity of the integration of Music in the political-pedagogic project, considering micro and macro educational policies |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo apresenta aspectos de pesquisa que investigou a inserção da música no projeto político pedagógico, tendo como objetivos identificar como, quando, onde e por quem o ensino de música é definido, planejado, implementado e desenvolvido; analisar metas e objetivos da música na escola e sua articulação com as finalidades expressas no projeto político pedagógico. O locus da investigação foi a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Porto Alegre e escolas da rede municipal de ensino. A metodologia utilizada foi a abordagem qualitativa e o método, o estudo de caso, com a utilização de entrevistas semiestruturadas, observações e questionários. Com base nas dimensões analíticas propostas por Medel (2008), Oliveira, Souza e Bahia (2005), Ball (1994) e Bowe et al. (1992), os resultados apontam para a complexidade da integração da música no projeto político pedagógico, levando-se em consideração micro e macropolíticas educacionais |
