| English abstract | The main objective of this review article is to outline some fundamental conceptual elements that encompass the topic "children are subjects of rights". This is a document that is the result of a review of the state of the art on the subject mentioned. The exercise is based on the bibliographic review and identification of 50 sources in indexed journals located in databases such as: Scielo, Redalyc, Publindex, Scopus, Ebsco, Dialnet, Doaj and Latindex, which were subjected to a rigorous analysis and systematization that would allow the construction of a possible recent theoretical scaffolding.In this way, it is intended to make an approach to the reality of childhood, recognizing that this social group is at a disadvantage to carry out actions that allow them to claim their own rights. Often, adults, having different conceptions about childhood, are unaware of the importance of this group of human beings and their fundamental role in the social fabric. Therefore, they need adults to be their spokespersons and advocate for their needs. However, it is understood that as children grow older, their ability to become social actors in defense of their own rights also increases |
| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo principal, esbozar algunos elementos conceptuales fundamentales que abarcan el tópico "los niños son sujetos de derechos". Se trata de un documento resultado de una revisión del estado de la cuestión en torno a la temática mencionada. El ejercicio se sustenta en la revisión bibliográfica e identificación de 50 fuentes en revistas indexadas localizadas en bases de datos como: Scielo, Redalyc, Publindex, Scopus, Ebsco, Dialnet, Doaj y Latindex, las cuales fueron sometidas a un análisis y sistematización rigurosa que permitió construir un posible andamiaje teórico reciente.De esta forma, se pretende realizar un acercamiento a la realidad de la infancia, reconociendo que este grupo social se encuentra en desventaja para llevar a cabo acciones que les permitan reivindicar sus propios derechos. A menudo, los adultos, al tener diversas concepciones acerca de la infancia, desconocen la importancia de este grupo de seres humanos y su papel fundamental en el tejido social. Por lo tanto, necesitan de los adultos para que sean sus voceros y abogar por sus necesidades. Sin embargo, se comprende que, a medida que los niños crecen, también aumenta su capacidad para convertirse en actores sociales en la defensa de sus propios derechos. |
