His mother reported that in July 2011, he was admitted in Neurosurgery service of a tertiary care hospital, with diagnosis of left-temporal arachnoid cyst; it was indicated drug treatment and the patient was discharged with an appointment to nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), but symptoms persisted, so they went to a public pediatric hospital where a subdural peritoneal derivation system was applied to solve a subdural hematoma |
