English abstract | In this article, the author takes up the old topic of Anomie in order to make a theoretical contribution to its development through the introduction of the related concepts of “anomic space” and “anomic time”. Following Emile Durkheim’s procedure in The Division of Labor in Society, the author illustrates each one of these concepts with three examples. Specifically, it provides some new reflections on this “illustration” of anomic time in reference to the Barranquilla carnival, the signature celebration of the Colombian Caribbean coast |
