| Spanish abstract | El fútbol, como espectáculo que ha logrado atraer la atención de diversos públicos, se basa en la afición y la hinchada. Un tipo particular de hinchas dejó su participación pasiva en la tribuna para involucrase en el juego mismo, generando la aparición de grupos organizados en los estadios. El artículo ofrece una mirada comprensiva de las llamadas “barras bravas”, desde la observación, la observación participante y el diario de campo. La reflexión, realizada desde las categorías sociales del ritual y la identidad , parte de la festividad de la tribuna y la agresividad de la calle como manifestaciones de los propios actores que les permiten hacer del “aguante”, un estilo de vida |
| English abstract | As a spectacle that has captured the attention of diverse audiences, soccer is based on enthusiasm and fan and supporter groups. Among these groups, the barras bravas stand out for having abandoned the position of passive spectators and getting involved in the game itself, thus leading to the emergence of organized groups in the stadiums. The article provides a comprehensive view of these barras bravas (tough soccer supporter groups), on the basis of observation, participative observation, and field journals. Using the social categories of ritual and identity, the reflection addresses the festiveness of the stands and the aggression on the streets as typical expressions of these actors for whom aguante (tough, aggressive behavior) has become a lifestyle |
