| Spanish abstract | ESTE ENSAYO ABORDA, DE FORMA EXPLÍCITA, TRES TEMAS QUE SE CRUZARON EN UNA investigación etnográfica: la identidad cultural, las maneras –concepto que permite hablar de ese tipo de identidad– y la elaboración cultural del tiempo. En él están implícitas, mas no ocultas, algunas reflexiones que giran sobre la escritura en antropología –porque en nuestro ámbito lo real se presenta con palabras–, sobre la condición del investigador en tanto sujeto social y sobre el límite de la autoridad etnográfica, que, supongo, no es sólo autoridad para describir, sino que es, también, autoridad para conceptualizar |
| English abstract | T HIS ESSAY EXAMINES THREE TOPICS THAT INTERSECTED ONE ANOTHER DURING ETH nographic research: cultural identity, customs –a concept allowing discussions about this type of identity– and the cultural elaboration of time.
