| Spanish abstract | Este artículo analiza Alma chilena (1912) de Carlos Pezoa Véliz y Hacia allá (1905) de Víctor Domingo Silva, con el objeto de conocer el tipo de subjetividad que producen para criticar el orden político del 1900. Se propone que estos textos elaboran una subjetividad anarco-modernista, dada la reiteración de distintos ideologemas. Por una parte, las voces de ambos autores se identifican con sujetos del bajo pueblo mestizo, cuyas vidas son explotadas por la oligarquía. Esto deviene en que ambos problematizan el valor de la propiedad privada y postulan refundar la sociedad en términos igualitaristas. Así, estos poetas comparten una imaginación emancipatoria similar, aunque se distinguen en que Pezoa Véliz simboliza el anarquismo como una ética humanitaria y que Silva adopta una aproximación revolucionaria, al reivindicar el carácter épico de la insurrección popular. |
| English abstract | This article analyzes Alma chilena (1912) by Carlos Pezoa Véliz and Hacia allá (1905) by Víctor Domingo Silva, aiming to recognize the type of subjectivity they produce to criticize the political order towards 1900. I propose that these texts elaborate an anarcho-modernist subjectivity, given the reiteration of different ideologemes. On the one hand, the voices of both authors identify themselves with people from the mestizo lower class, whose lives are exploited by the oligarchy. At the same time, this makes them question the value of private property, proposing to recreate society from an egalitarian perspective. Thus, both poets share a similar emancipatory imagination, although they differ from one another, since Pezoa Véliz symbolizes anarchism as a humanitarian ethic, while Silva prefers a revolutionary approach by vindicating the epic attitude of popular insurrection. |
