| English abstract | From the theoretical fields - culture and gender - this study it brings as main scene a complex potter, which it becomes controversial representations of gender produced by the Pentecostal Church of the Kingdom of God (PCKG). The used theoretical reference is an approach to the Cultural Studies, occupying of some concepts after structural of analysis. It is argued connection between gender production and pedagogy, to analyze as the feminine body he appears represented in the community potter of Campo Bom/RS. The religious institution in question is understood as instance where the power if exercises. She, through the speeches, her educates, her disciplines and her regulates the bodies as any practical other social e, because of this, it is understood as a cultural pedagogy. Using itself of the cultural analysis, the collected material is analyzed operating itself with the identity concepts, culture, representation and gender, the objective of the article is to show the diverse mechanisms by which the differences are represented, described, classified, nominated and produced. It was important to see, in special, as the PCKG is organized, codified and of that it forms its organization and codification finish for distributing the some constituent of these and consisting elements in these spaces. It was objectified to see that practical social disciplinarians are placed in functioning to produce feminine citizens in this Community |
| Portuguese abstract | A partir dos campos teóricos – cultura e gênero – este estudo traz como principal cenário um complexo oleiro, no qual problematizam-se representações de gênero produzidas pela Igreja Pentecostal do Reino de Deus (IURD). O referencial teórico utilizado é uma aproximação aos Estudos Culturais, ocupando-se de alguns conceitos pós-estruturalistas de análise. Discute-se a conexão entre produção de gênero e pedagogia, para analisar como o corpo feminino aparece representado na comunidade oleira de Campo Bom/RS. A instituição religiosa em questão é entendida como instância onde o poder se exercita. Ela, através dos discursos, educa, disciplina e regula os corpos como qualquer outra prática social e, por causa disso, é entendida como uma pedagogia cultural. Utilizandose da análise cultural, o material coletado é analisado operando-se com os conceitos de identidade, cultura, representação e gênero, objetivando problematizar os diversos mecanismos pelos quais as diferenças são representadas, descritas, classificadas, nomeadas e produzidas. Foi importante ver, em especial, como a IURD é organizada, codificada e de que forma sua organização e codificação acabam por distribuir os vários elementos constituintes desses e constituídos nesses espaços. Objetivou-se ver que práticas sociais disciplinadoras são colocadas em funcionamento para produzir sujeitos femininos nessa Comunidade |
