| English abstract | This article intends aims to observe the gender relations and the body disciplining that can be found in our society. As background of this reflection, we do a reading of the movie Mulheres Perfeitas, where the power relations existing between men and women reach the apex of conditioning and modeling bodies, identity and subjectivity. In this sense, this article intends to discuss the gender related issues existing in our society, aiming to understand and analyze how this relations are established in a subtle way. The outcome of this effort is showed in two moments, the first is to contextualize contemporary society, gender and female identity. In the second, we approach the concept of community, understood here as a privileged space to study sociability. Thus, from the observation of the fictitious Stepford we propose to think the building of social relations, based on gender issues |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente trabalho pretende lançar um olhar para as relações de gênero e o disciplinamento dos corpos que se observa em nossa sociedade. Como pano de fundo desta reflexão, fazemos a leitura do filme Mulheres Perfeitas, onde as relações de poder existentes entre homens e mulheres atinge o ápice do condicionamento e modelamento de corpos, identidade e subjetividade. Neste sentido, este trabalho busca discutir as relações sociais perpassadas pelas questões de gênero em nossa sociedade, visando compreender e analisar como essas relações são estabelecidas sutilmente. O resultado deste esforço está exposto em dois momentos, o primeiro destina-se a contextualizar a sociedade contemporânea, questão de gênero e identidade feminina. No segundo, nos aproximamos do conceito de comunidade, compreendido aqui enquanto um espaço privilegiado para os estudos acerca das sociabilidades.
