| English abstract | Alexandra Kollontai was the Soviet Union’s ambassador to Mexico in 1926-1927. The memoirs of her time there are conserved in her Diarios Diplomáticos (Diplomatic Diaries), correspondence and other documents. An analysis of these materials enlightens us as to the circumstances of her appointment, her relation with the Mexican Communist Party, and the way in which she recorded her encounter with the country, its government and its people |
