| Spanish abstract | Introducción. En este artículo se presentan avances de la tesis doctoral en Antropología, investigación que considera como área de estudio la ciudad de Olavarría (Buenos Aires, Argentina) donde habitan mujeres que asumen una identidad indígena (mapuche) y que están desarrollando, como tales, un rol activo en la comunidad. Objetivo principal. El objetivo principal consiste en comprender de qué manera las mujeres mapuches se apropian, re-significan y ponen en valor el legado cultural ancestral, recuperando sus vivencias (pasadas y actuales) en torno a la cosmovisión mapuche. Método y técnica. Este estudio se sustenta en un abordaje cualitativo desde un enfoque etnográfico, basado en técnicas tales como la entrevista y la observación participante, así como también el relevamiento y análisis de fuentes documentales. Resultados. Se recuperan ciertos aspectos del legado cultural ancestral vinculados con prácticas rituales expresadas en ceremonias y eventos cotidianos para pensarlas desde la dimensión ontológica de los procesos socioculturales retomados por las entrevistadas. Los principales resultados permiten reflexionar sobre la circularidad como principio (espacial y temporal) y simbología, el rol de las prácticas ceremoniales y rituales para la vida cotidiana y su re-significación en un contexto urbano, la centralidad de la vinculación con las fuerzas de la naturaleza, entre otros. Conclusiones. Las conclusiones se orientan a pensar en torno a la diversidad de experiencias vividas a partir de la reconstrucción y reconexión con lo ancestral y la cultura indígena en los procesos de conformación identitaria. En este sentido, se plantea la necesidad de visibilizar su existencia en estos territorios en clave interseccional para poder comprender qué significa ser mujer indígena en la actualidad desde un abordaje situado. |
| English abstract | Introduction. This article presents advances of the doctoral thesis in Anthropology, research that considers the city of Olavarría (Buenos Aires, Argentina) as a study area where women who assume an indigenous identity (Mapuche) live and who are developing, as such, a active role in the community. Main objective. In this framework, the main objective is to understand how Mapuche women appropriate, re-signify, value the ancestral cultural legacy, recovering their experiences (past and current) around the Mapuche worldview. Method and technique.This study is based on a qualitative approach from an ethnographic perspective, based on techniques such as the interview and participant observation, as well as the survey and analysis of documentary sources. Results. Certain aspects of the ancestral cultural legacy related to ritual practices expressed in ceremonies and daily events are recovered to think about them from the ontological dimension of the sociocultural processes retaken by the interviewees. The main results allow us to reflect on circularity as a principle (spatial and temporal) and symbolism, the role of ceremonial and ritual practices for daily life and its re-signification in an urban context, the centrality of the link with the forces of the nature, among others. Conclusions. The conclusions are aimed at thinking about the diversity of experiences lived from the reconstruction and reconnection with the ancestral and indigenous culture in the processes of identity formation. In this sense, the need arises to make her existence visible in these territories in an intersectional way in order to understand what it means to be an indigenous woman today from a situated approach. |
