| Spanish abstract | El artículo realiza una comparación sobre la noción de educación y su objetivo, en el pensamiento de Emile Durkheim y de Pierre Bourdieu. Primeramente se reflexiona sobre algunas consideraciones relativas a la influencia de la sociología de Durkheim sobre la obra sociológica de Bourdieu, enfatizando sobre todo el racionalismo y el estructuralismo de ambos autores. Posteriormente se elabora una reflexión sobre algunos puntos comunes, y a la vez sobre las distancias que existen entre ambos autores en el abordaje del tema educativo |
| English abstract | The article compares the notion of education and its objective, in the thought of Emile Durkheim and Pierre Bourdieu. Firstly, it analyses the influence of Durkheim’s sociology on Bourdieu’s sociological work, emphasizing especially on the rationalism and the structuralism of both authors. Later a reflection is elaborated on some common points, and simultaneously on the distances that exist between both authors in the approach to the educational question |
