| Spanish abstract | En su libro "Psicología del arte" (concluido en 1925), L.S. Vygotsky escribe sobre el tema arte y vida, discutiendo algunas de las principales teorías estéticas de su tiempo. El objetivo de este estudio teórico fue contextualizar estos interlocutores y algunas de las ideas de este autor, presentando los argumentos fundamentales acerca de la relación entre arte y vida desde el debate entre las tendências realistas y simbolistas del modernismo ruso, sobre todo en la literatura y las artes visuales. La conclusión es que la perspectiva de Vygotsky sobre el tema, en sintonía con los grandes debates estéticos de su tiempo, sigue siendo importante para la comprensión de las manifestaciones del arte contemporáneo, sea en las tendencias realistas o en el campo de la performance |
| English abstract | In his book "Psychology of Art" (concluded in 1925), L.S. Vygotsky writes about the subject art and life, dialoguing with some of the major aesthetic theories of his time. The aim of this theoretical study is to contextualize these interlocutors and some of the ideas of this author, presenting the fundamental arguments about the relationship between art and life in the struggle between realist and symbolist branches of Russian modernism, especially in literature and visual arts. We conclude that Vygotsky's perspective on the subject, in tune with the great aesthetic discussions of his time, is still relevant to consider the manifestations of contemporary art, whether in its realistic tendencies or in the field of performance |
| Portuguese abstract | Em sua obra "Psicologia da Arte" (concluída em 1925), L.S. Vigotski escreve sobre o tema arte e vida, dialogando com algumas das principais teorias estéticas de sua época. Objetiva-se neste estudo teórico contextualizar esses interlocutores e algumas das ideias desse autor, com a apresentação dos argumentos fundamentais sobre as relações entre arte e vida no embate entre as vertentes realistas e simbolistas do modernismo russo, especialmente na literatura e artes visuais. Conclui-se que a perspectiva de Vigotski acerca do tema, sintonizada com as grandes discussões estéticas de seu tempo, é ainda relevante para pensar as manifestações da arte contemporânea, seja em suas vertentes realistas ou no campo da performance |
