| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo presenta un análisis crítico y propositivosobre la evolución de las tendencias de Educación Superior Inclusiva en Latinoamérica y su vínculo con la participación de estudiantes en situación de discapacidad en este nivel. Iniciamos una separación y una distinción en torno a la ausencia de una teoría/epistemología clara para problematizar la inclusión en este nivel. En un segundo momento, se describe la evolución y el carácter de las propuestas oficializadas en torno a esta discusión, las que develan un discurso alternativo y socialista en sus fundamentos, pero carente de una impronta más coherente con sus desafíos actuales. Se concluye identificando la necesidad de modernizar el enfoque y de dirigir nuestra mirada hacia otras formas de comprensión e interpretación de la realidad en nuestro continente |
| English abstract | This paper aims at presenting a critical and proactive analysis of evolving trends of Inclusive Higher Education in Latin America and its link with the participation of students with disabilities at this level. Firstly, we begin with the separation and distinction around the absence of a theory/epistemology clear to problematize the inclusion at this level. In a second stage, the evolution and nature ofthe proposals, made official discussion around this situation, is described and reveal an alternative and socialist discourse in its foundations, but lacking a coherent impression with its current challenges. It is concluded by identifying the need to modernize the approach and turn our gaze toward other forms of understanding and interpretation of reality on our continent |
