| Spanish abstract | El propósito del presente trabajo es compartir algunas aproximaciones sobre el agenciamiento que los niñ@s y jóvenes hacen del trabajo y la escuela. L@s protagonistas de la investigación son niñ@s y jóvenes escolarizad@s, que tratan de llevar adelante –con numerosas dificultades– dos actividades: el aprendizaje escolar y el trabajo. El objetivo de este escrito es doble: por un lado, visibilizar el trabajo infantil y adolescente en la Comarca, ya que no existe reconocimiento social y simbólico del mismo, ni en el sector escolar, ni en el adulto en general, y por otro lado, mostrar que la relación escuela/ trabajo es complicada: las inasistencias, llegadas tarde, cansancio físico, abandono temporario, repitencia, falta de tiempo para estudiar y hacer las tareas, son situaciones que l@s niñ@s trabajador@s deben abordar para mantener la escolaridad, sin recibir una atención particular ni de la familia, ni del estado, ni del sistema escolar |
| English abstract | The aim of this paper is to share some similarities about what children and young people obtain from work and school. The main protagonists in the research are children and young people who try to cope with two activities: school learning and work. The objective of this paper is twofold: on the one hand, to make visible child and adolescent work in our region, since there is not a symbolic or social recognition of it, neither from the school sector nor from people in general and, on the other hand, to show that the school/ work relation is a complex one: working children have to deal with different situations in order to keep up schooling: absences, late arrivals, tiredness, temporary desertion, promotion failure, lack of time to study and do homework. These students do not get special attention from their families, the state or the school system |
