| Spanish abstract | Este artículo intenta ser un breve homenaje a dos científicos de nuestro país. La investigación -dirigida por Mag Marcela Ickowicz y Asesorada por Lic. Lidia M Fernández- en curso “Procesos y Dinámicas de formación y socialización en la UNCo: el caso de los grupos académicos de excelencia” me llevó a indagar -entre otras cuestiones- en la historia de la ciencia en nuestro país y especialmente en Bariloche como polo científico. De las múltiples instituciones científicas que convergen en Bariloche, en este trabajo nos abocaremos a recuperar parte de la historia de la CNEA y del Instituto Balseiro. Elegimos esas instituciones en honor a sus principales referentes: José Antonio Balseiro y Enrique Gaviola con el propósito de reivindicar sus discursos, acciones y realizaciones y como modo de aportar a la reflexión acerca la identidad de los científicos argentinos |
| English abstract | This paper intends to be a brief tribute to two scientists of our country. Ongoing research (Director: Marcela Ickowicz, MA; Advisor: Professor UBA Lidia M Fernandez): “Training and socialization processes and dynamics in the Comahue: a university case of groups of academic excellence”, led me to carry out research, among other issues –on the history of science in our country and especially in Bariloche as a scientific foundation. Among the numerous scientific institutions which converge on Bariloche, we seek to vindicate the role in history of the CNEA and Instituto Balseiro. We have chosen these institutions in honour of José Antonio Balseiro and Enrique Gaviola intending to revive their speeches, actions and achievements and as a means of contributing to the debate about the identity of Argentine scientists |
