| Spanish abstract | El presente trabajo es una reflexión en torno al catolicismo social, a las acciones y formas de organización que adquirió el compromiso social y político de los católicos en México a lo largo del siglo XX. Uno de los representantes de este catolicismo, y que destaca de manera singular, es el Secretariado Social Mexicano.
