| Spanish abstract | El pasado 16 de junio se cumplió el 55 aniversario de la publicación, por primera vez, del “segundo testa-mento político” del comandante Ernesto Che Guevara. Con vistas a que las y los lectores puedan aquilatar el significado histórico de su llamamiento a crear “dos, tres, ... muchos Vietnam”, se relatan de manera sintética los antecedentes mediatos e inmediatos, así como las circunstancias en que este se escribió y difundió. A pesar de los ambivalentes cambios que desde entonces hasta hoy se han producido en la economía capitalista mundo y en el entonces “bipolar” y hoy “multipolar” Sistema Internacional de Estados, el artículo concluye con una reflexión sobre las vigencias que conserva ese documento para las multiformes luchas antimperialistas que en la actualidad se están emprendiendo en todo el mundo y, en particular, en América Latina y el Caribe |
| English abstract | June 16 marked the 55th anniversary of the publication, for the first time, of the "second political testa-ment" of Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara. In order to enable readers to grasp the historical significance of his call to create "two, three, ... many Vietnams", this paper summarizes the mediate and immediate antecedents, as well as the circumstances in which it was written and disseminated. Despite the ambivalent changes that have taken place in the world capitalist economy and the then "bipolar" and now "multipolar" International System of States, the article concludes with a reflection on the validity of this document for the multiform anti-imperialist struggles that are currently being undertaken around the world and, in par-ticular, in Latin America and the Caribbean |
