| Spanish abstract | El artículo reflexiona acerca de las intersecciones entre historia del derecho e historia política no tanto para señalar sus convergencias y divergencias sino para mostrar la imposibilidad de separar ambas miradas a partir de la unidad del objeto de estudio y la coincidencia de fuentes. El artículo sitúa el desarrollo de ambas disciplinas en el contexto político e historiográfico europeo señalando los logros y limitaciones de la historia crítica del derecho y los posibles riesgos de algunas interpretaciones derivadas de esta lectura |
| English abstract | This article analyses the intersections between legal and political history, not only to indicate their convergences and divergences, but to show that when the unity of the subject and the coincidental judicial sources are considered, the two perspectives cannot be divided. The feature places the development of both disciplines in the European political and historiographical context, exposing the achievements and limitations of critical legal history and the potential risks of some interpretations which derive from such a reading |
