| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se reconstruyen, en sus elementos esenciales, los tipos ideales “teología política” y “mesianismo impolítico”, analizando la potencialidad y limitaciones que poseen para nombrar dos comprensiones antagónicas de la política. Tras ello, se esboza brevemente una idea de política que asume lo mejor de cada uno de esos tipos y evita sus peligros. Dicha política es nombrada con la expresión “tercer liberalismo” |
| English abstract | In this article the ideal types “political theology” and “messianism impolitic” are reconstructed in their essential elements, analyzing their potential and their limitations in order to appoint two conflicting understandings of politics. After that, an idea of politics that takes the best of each one of these types and avoid their dangers, is outlined. This politics is called the “third liberalism” |
