English abstract | St. Augustine’s reflections on the relationship between faith and reason leave as a legacy to the Middle Ages an intellectual program that the medieval thinkers will develop. The meaning of faith and reason in St. Augustine goes on to its target, the search for the truth (if it can be achieved or not) and understanding of revelation. Then comes the explanation of the passage from Genesis 1:26, just as God is Trinity, the essence of the soul is Trinitarian (memory, intelligence, intention). In conclusion, the article talks about the possession of truth |
